My name is Maria Martinez and my daughter Marcela goes to Angela's childcare for the last 5 years. Angela is a very caring person who really likes kids. She does not do this as a job but she is really passionate about it. My daughter REALLY enjoys going to her childcare and when I go to pick her up, she does not want to go home (this is a good thing) as I know she feels there secure and care. Another fantastic thing is that she learns Spanish and eats very healthy snacks and hot food. I feel very blessed to have Angela taking care of my precious treasure who is my daughter. I go to work knowing that she is in very good hands. There are not animals and no smoking in the house... which is very important to me.

I found Angela in the fall of September 2013. After interviewing eight previous daycare providers I knew I had found the right fit when I met Angela. Coming from a background in social services, I was all too aware of the consequences of leaving your children with the wrong daycare provider and anxious about daycare in general.
Upon meeting Angela, I felt immediately at ease. Her home was both welcoming and accommodating to my little one. Angela shared the same philosophy of care that I parented my own child with (love, kindness, understanding and boundaries). I was also extremely happy that Angela worked with her children teaching them about numbers, letters, music and the Spanish language.
My little girl and I were very attached to one another and so it was difficult to leave her with anyone at that point. I was surprised and pleased to find that my little girl quickly became attached to Angela and looked forward to going to her house to play with her friends.
The only reason I had to leave Angela was due to a move over thirty minutes away. However, for many months I continued to make the drive as I felt I could not find anyone as amazing as Angela. I still have not found anyone as amazing as Angela. I highly recommend Angela as someone who will love and care for your child like her own. I cannot say enough about Angela as a person and as a mom. Her family is wonderful and I can only urge you not to miss out if you have an opportunity to have your child/children cared for by Angela.

Our daughter (6 years old) has been in Angela's care since March 2012. Previously, our son (13 years old) was in her care for 5 years. My daughter loves going to Angela's house and my son has fond memories of the same. We have not had the best luck with finding good childcare since we moved to Waterloo, but we are unreservedly thankful for finding Angela!
Angela provides a warm and safe environment for all the children in her home. Weather permitting, she schedules plenty of outdoor time and play, and inside the house the children have many activities to enjoy (crafts, colouring/drawing, dancing, variety of age-appropriate toys, games, and more). She sometimes sends pictures of the kids at play, which is a thoughtful and welcome intrusion on the busy workday.
Angela also prepares home-cooked meals for the children daily, and many mornings when we drop off our daughter there is a delicious aroma wafting from the kitchen.
In addition to the outstanding in-home environment, if Angela must schedule an appointment (which is infrequent), she makes sure it is at the end of the day and always provides advance notice. The only exception to this was for something whose timing was beyond her control--her citizenship ceremony.
Angela is affectionate, outgoing, positive, patient, and kind. We believe she truly loves all the children in her care and they truly love her. Perhaps the best indication of this is the almost-daily sound of our daughter saying, "AWWWW!" whenever we go to pick her up!
Angela is a wonderful person and we whole-heartedly recommend her as an in-home childcare provider.

Angela is a wonderful child care provider. She has always shown so much care and affection towards my children and we have been blessed to find her. Both of my kids love her and look forward to spending their days there. She takes the time to listen to them and is really involved in their days.
She always supplies healthy and warm meals for my kids. They tend to eat better for her then for me. I also like that they get outside to play at least once a day or more if weather permits it. I've had issues at other daycares where my kids were stuck inside all day. At Angela's they are outside and running around which they love.
I was also very happy at how clean and tidy her house is. The kids play on all three levels of the house depending on the time of day and she has play areas set up for them everywhere. They aren’t shoved in a damp and dark basement all day like I have seen at other home daycares.
My two kids started going to Angela’s in January 2013. My son is now in kindergarten full time, but my daughter still goes to Angela’s and will continue to until she starts kindergarten in the Fall.
Angela is a wonderful person and we whole-heartedly recommend her as an in-home childcare provider.
